Carina is a publishing and publicity veteran with more than two decades of experience elevating powerful voices. Before launching Parallel 33 PR and Studio 33 Books, she spent formative years at Hay House, Inc., where she helped amplify some of the most influential leaders in spirituality, wellness, and personal transformation, including #1 New York Times bestselling authors Marianne Williamson and Dr. Wayne Dyer, as well as Anita Moorjani, David Kessler, and many others.
She has since promoted hundreds of books, guided numerous bestselling authors, and built long-standing national media relationships across publishing, sprituality, wellness, and thought leadership.
Based in Carlsbad, California—on the 33rd parallel—Carina founded Studio 33 Books to close a gap she had seen again and again as a publicist. While there are many excellent hybrid publishers, she approaches publishing from a publicity point of view: looking first at how a book will be positioned, received, and taken seriously in the marketplace, then helping authors build the editorial, design, production, and strategic foundation to support it.
